All students in Germany must be covered by statutory health insurance. You already have insurance with a statutory German health insurer or have private health insurance with the appropriate benefits. With statutory health insurance, you can receive medical services without paying upfront, including dental visits. Your health insurance company will settle the bill directly, so it is important that you carry your insurance card (EHIC) with you.

We are in contact with doctors who can treat our international students if necessary. If you have any medical concerns that need to be discussed before your stay with us, please contact Iris, Swantje or Helga.

Increased time requirement: If you need more time for examinations on the basis of medical reasons, please let us know. Please provide us with your corresponding medical prescription in that case.

Our students have the opportunity to purchase meal vouchers for discounted meals at our partner restaurants.
