International Program in Engineering

The International Program in Engineering (IPE) started, three months ago. Last week we celebrated the end of the semester by spending one evening in a Native American camp in Haßmersheim, where we enjoyed a delicious BBQ around the campfire. The international students from Mexico, Hungary, Lithuania, China and the Netherlands traveled back to their home countries with a lot of valuable experiences and memories.

One of our students from the Netherlands, Joost Boomstra, described the semester: “IPE was wonderful, the best semester of my life!” This sentiment was echoed by Jin Zhong Yuan, one of the two Chinese participants: “I have learnt a lot in the past three months and I will never forget this time.”

The student evaluation of IPE showed that 100 % of the participants would recommend the IPE to a fellow student.

We are already looking forward to the IPE next year. Once again we are planning interesting excursions and lectures with DHBW und international lecturers.
